P72 AR Assault Rifles

The P72 retains the characteristic reliability associated with long-stroke piston-operated rifles while introducing a more contemporary configuration. Its 7.62×39mm chambering provides compatibility with a widely established intermediate-calibre cartridge, while the rifle's configuration is designed to provide a balance between power, handling and control.

A key feature of the P72 is its left-side, non-reciprocating charging handle, which SSS Defence identifies as a distinctive feature for squads operating in confined spaces. The rifle also incorporates multiple rail interfaces for mounting mission-specific accessories.

Design & Features

The P72 uses a milled receiver with integral rails at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions and M-LOK rails at 3 and 9 o'clock for accessory mounting. The rifle's left-side charging handle is designed to improve handling, particularly in confined spaces.

Its long-stroke piston mechanism is designed for dependable operation and recoil control, while the standard 16-inch-class barrel is available with chrome-plated or Nitride finish.
